Here is a list of organizations requesting intervener status for the Frontier Mine last year:

• Fort McMurray Métis Local 125
• SilverWillow Energy Corporation (holds oilsands leases adjacent to Frontier lease)
• Mikisew Cree First Nation
• Shell Canada Energy
• Oil Sands Environmental Coalition (Pembina, Alberta Wilderness Association, Fort McMurray Environmental Association)
• Fort McKay First Nation
• Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation
• Metis Nation of Alberta Association Lakeland Local Council 1909

It is different every time. In some cases, you can look at CEAA's website and find many hundreds of individual Canadians who are trying to get their two cents in, but over time, rules have changed, not all projects have to provide federal environmental assessments. I am trying to navigate the new Alberta Regulator, but I have to get in touch from someone with knowledge of where the newest project applications and intervener requests can be found.
