The Land Is Changing (P/J)
Students interview elders, older relatives and/or parents about the issues, impacts and potential ways of adapting to climate change in the north. Interview questions are designed to shed light on the issues of climate change.
This is an interesting way for children to connect to their environment as well as to the community. There can be a bunch of links into the social studies as well as literacy strands. Definitely a plus that I'm planning on going up north.
