About Me

Education has been in my family for generations. It took me a long time to realize this for myself. I am now a professional educator, but have been educating people all through my life through the learning that I take to be the process of life. Being a life long student is imperative to the vocation of a teacher. I only know as much as I am willing to question. In this regard my life will continue to unfold as my curiosity and imagination work hand in hand to unveil the world around me. I am a Canadian born Sri Lankan who has music for a pulse and knowledge as my breath. I keep breathing in to keep my pulse strong. The world is hard to look at but the intention of the hopeful is what makes life poignant and meaningful to me. I am excited and sobered by the present state of the world. At no other time in human history is so much possible, and at no other time is so much required of us. Here's to the future that refuses to be the passed.
