Coral Reef Destruction

The destruction of the Coral Reefs in the Philippines is truly sad to watch. Monitoring and lessening the amount of littering around the coral reefs would be a solution to the destruction. Although there are probably are many other causes of destruction, prevention of littering would be a solution to this problem. Without protection over the coral reefs, they will not survive.

Thank you for showing so much concern for the Coral Reefs of the Philippines. It is true that they are being destroyed at a more than normal rate, and you solutions are simply the right ones. Littering, dynamite fishing, along with oil spills are some of the most common problems here and need to be addressed not only by our government, but similarly by our people as well. I hope this problem gets solved soon!
