Hello, I am Eliška
I go to school in Prague, It´s the capital city of the Czech Republic. We have a lots of monuments in Prague, the famous are Prague castle and the Charles bridge. It´s a very nice city. My school is in the center of Prague. There are lots of old houses and monuments around our school.
Toronto, Ontario
My name is Clarke. What’s yours? I live in Toronto, Ontario, and I can’t wait to tell you all about my home city.
My favourite place to visit in Toronto is the CN tower. It’s really cool and a bit scary when you walk on the glass floors from so high up it almost feels like you’re floating! I also like going up on the high balconies, where you can see the almost the entire of downtown Toronto. So far I’ve been too scared to do the walking-on-the-roof activity, but I might just try it next time! That’s why the CN tower is my favourite place to visit in Toronto.
I also love to visit other places in Toronto. I like to go to fields; strawberry fields, pumpkin patches, apple orchards etc. I also like to go to my cottage on Ston(e)y lake. Weirdly, on the upper part of the lake they spell Stoney with an E, but on the lower part they just spell it Stony. I also used to like to go and visit my grandmother, but now she’s dead! Those are some other places that I like to visit.
An activity that my friends and I like that I think is unique to my city is playing in the snow. I know that it’s not even close to only something that is unique to Toronto, but still, most cities don’t have snow, and some that do don’t have enough to make snowmen and other things that take a few inches of snow to make. One I made a snow table, and in it I buried mason jars. In one, I put snow and blueberries in the jar, one I put snow and strawberries in, and the last one I filled with apple cider. The strawberries and blueberries were almost as if they had been preserved, and the apple cider jar became almost like an apple-cider-flavoured popsicle in a jar. Those are some fun things you can do in the snow in Toronto.
I’m exited to learn about London, because there are so many movies and books set in London, some portraying it as bad, some as good. I think that it’s a beautiful city, and want to learn all about it.

One of the great things about Toronto is my neighbourhood. Not many urban cities have a kind of suburb area in them. Even though it is still part of the city. I love to play on my street with my friends. Most of my friends live in my neighbourhood so i can walk to there houses to play. That is why i love my neighbourhood.
Downtown Toronto is always fun! There are cool stores to look at like Mastermind (a toy store) and so much more. On a rainy day i go to the movies with my family at the big theatre where you can see movies on a huge screen. Then there is the CN tower. It is one of the coolest and tallest towers in the world. If you go in the restaurant you might notice it SPINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!But very slowly so you might not notice.There is so much to do!
Another great thing about Toronto is Centre Island. To get there you take a ferry over Lake Ontario once you get off the ferry there are a lot of trees flowers and grass. It is so pretty if you walk a little more there are rides! My favourite is one where you sit in a log you go high up then drop down. There are also beaches so you can enjoy the water.That is why Centre Island is so fun.
And there are so many more things i like about Toronto. that is why i am happy to live here!
My Great City Toronto
These are some amazing things about Toronto. Toronto has a really tall tower called the CN Tower which is pretty cool. Toronto also has a ravine path near a great place called ‘’The Brickworks’’ but now they don’t make bricks but they have a cafe called “Cafe Belong” and they sell beverages and treats. When you walk down the ravine path it is so nice and beautiful. There is Niagara Falls which has waterfalls. These things are a few wonderful parts of Toronto.
The CN Tower is a famous place to visit. The tower is really fun to look down because you get to see the city from way up high. One of my favorite parts about the CN Tower is the window on the floor because you can see down below on the ground. The CN Tower also has an elevator you can see from the highway. The tower has lights so at night parts of the tower light up. The tower is near an aquarium called the “Ripley’s Aquarium” and the Rogers Center in Toronto.
These are my favorite places and things to do in Toronto. I love the parks because I like to play in them with my family and friends. I like the ravine as well because it is nice to bike and walk along and it is very pretty. I also love to go on walks in the neighbourhood with my family because I like and scenery and the sunshine. Next, I like my school because that’s where I make new friends and learn interesting things. These are some of my favorite places to go and do in Toronto.

Toronto is very multicultural. There are people from almost everywhere for example china town it is a place where if you are not liking china you can move to Toronto and not feel like you are different also they sell the same food and you do not have to get used to other foods and a different culture.

Toronto Is Awesome
Have you ever been to Toronto? Something that is awesome about Toronto is the weather. The weather in Toronto is amazing! In the summer it gets hot, sometimes really hot and sometimes not too hot. I also like the winter. In the winter it is either kind of cold or cold. I like hot and cold because of the activities such as soccer in hot and hockey in cold weather.
Also in Toronto it is really safe. That is important to me because once my friend lost one of his favourite things. I think Toronto is safe because there have not been stolen items in a long time. This means you can feel comfortable to walk or bike around the city.
I also like the places to go. In Toronto you can go to lots of fun places. Some of them are: the CN tower, Bmo field, the X, and the Rogers center. My favourite place of all those places is BMO field. I like BMO field because BMO field is a soccer field, and I love soccer.

TORONTO
Toronto is a really cool place. It has revines, sky scrapers, an aquarium, a lot of parks and even the CN tower. The CN tower is the largest self-supporting tower in the world. But those are only the main atractions. There are also many kinds of animals and plants such as maple trees, fox and ducks.
In Toronto I go to school at Whitney. Whitney has a lot of stuff to do including sports, plays, music and a HUGE playground. The playground has a cople of climbers, a ball cort (that’s where I play soccer). There is only 280 kids there wich is small for a school in toronto.
Other than plants, animals and buildings there are more things interesting about Toronto. It has a population of about 3 MILION!!!! That’s a lot of people! Over all, Toronto is a REALLY cool place.

Hi! My name is Nefeli; I live in Toronto (Ontario,Canada) and I’m going to tell you why Toronto is such a great place.
Let me tell you:
Toronto is a very large city and has so many buildings; one of them is the CN Tower. It’s so tall! It also has many shops that are so amazing and they are at my favorite place… the Eaton Centre! The Eaton Centre is full of shops such as Indigo (books), sweet shops etc.
Whenever I go with my family, on the weekends at a place, we go to the “beaches” neighborhood which is so incredible there. We have a friend there and his name is Adrian (8 yrs); we go there a lot. In the evenings, we go to get an ice-cream at the ice-cream shop which is called “Ed’s Scoops”. Yum! Yum!
Last of all what we do a lot is we go to the aquarium which is right under the CN Tower. I just love going there because there are so many sea animals such as sharks, sting rays, fish, octopus etc. It’s an awesome place!

My favourite place to go to in Toronto is the CN tower is one of the tallest towers in the world. My friends and I like to play manhunt around the neighbourhood. Manhunt is a game kind of like tag, although when you tag someone you're on a team with them trying to tag other people. The last man or woman standing wins.
Toronto is located on the shores of Lake Ontario, that is one of the Great Lakes. You can wind surf, kayak, canoe and paddle board. Just outside of Toronto there are many ski hills. Toronto has something fun for everyone to do!

In Toronto, we play so many awesome sports! Some awesome sports are soccer and hockey. Not all of the sports we play were from our city, but they are sure fun to play.
There is a tiny bit of violence in our city, but just forgetting about that Toronto is beautiful. Toronto is a beautiful city because everybody learns. And even though we build more structures we still are green everywhere. Staying green in your city is very good like in our city. Being green is good because if you don’t have enough green in your city then you won’t be that healthy.
In Toronto, the weather is harder than you think. In winter, the snow falls faster and the wind is harsh. In spring and summer, it is hotter and your ice cream will melt. But there is a very nice and gentle season and it’s called fall!! In fall, the temperature is not too hot that your ice cream melts and not too cold that you turn into a snowman but just right. The colours are warm colours and look so beautiful all together!

Living in Toronto is great! One of the reasons living in Toronto is so great is because there are so many fun activities to do in Toronto. One of these activities is Sky Zone. I don't know any other city that has a trampoline building that has so many trampolines in it. Another activity in Toronto is the movie theater that we have in Toronto. There are so many movies to see, that sometimes I can't decide which one I should go see!
An interesting fact you may not know about Toronto is that Toronto was the first urban city in North America to have a wind turbine.
One of main attractions in Toronto is the CN Tower. I love it when the CN Tower lights up the night sky with all of the wonderful colours. The elevator in the CN Tower is almost as long as the CN Tower! Imagine how long it would take to ride it! The glass floor is soo scary! I don’t know how some people can jump on it. I can barely even stand on it!
The food in Toronto is amazing! I am pretty sure that Toronto is the only city in the world that has food from so many different countries. The Chinese food in China town is fabulous!! The dumplings there are fantastic! The Italian food in Little Italy is amazing! It almost tastes as good as the real Italian food! There are so many different kinds of food in Toronto that I can’t list all of them, but if you like fantastic food, then Toronto is the place to be!

Places and communities
Toronto has one of the most amazing places like the C.N. Tower, the Ripley’s Aquarium, the C.N.E, the R.O.M, and maybe even the ice cream shops because there’s this ice cream shop close to my house called Scoops that has ice cream, candy, and coffee and tea for your mom or dad or even both.
Toronto also has different communities that you can visit with different cultures and things to do. In the beaches you can walk on the beach, in Little Italy you can play soccer, watch soccer, or do both, and in Little India you can eat chapatti rolls.
That’s some stuff about Toronto. I hope you like it as much as me.

In Toronto we have the aquarium and the rom. I the aquarium we have sharks and other cool fish. In the rom we have cool dinosaurs like the t Rex. We also have the CN tower which has a glass floor that you can walk on and you can hang off the top of the tower. There is a stadium called the Rogers center were we play baseball. The CNE (Canadian National Exhibition ) is a wonderful place to go to because there are all these rides to go on and so many things to see. When I went to the CNE I had the best time of my life because I went on mind blowing rides and not so blowing ones. I won a princess balloon but it was broken. Our neighborhood is the opposite of a modern neighborhood. Our neighborhood has beautiful olden day houses. I love walking in our neighborhood with my family. One fact about my neighborhood is it’s so hard to understand were to go! It’s like a maze of olden day houses! One last fact about our neighborhood is most of the houses were built in the early 1900’s! Another neighborhood beside us has the president of Canada’s house where he grew up.so cool! Right beside our pleasant neighborhood we have a ravine full of tall trees. In summer it’s bright with the colour of green leaves. In fall the leaves are brownish purple yellow, orange, and with a bright red. In winter there are no leaves at all but there is snow! In spring there is new green leaves coming out to sprout! These are the facts about my neighborhood!
Topic 2# Beaches in Toronto and beaches and beaches in Lake Huron
A lot of topic 2# is about places in greater Ontario. For example if you like skiing on hills a great place to do that is in Blue Mountain in greater Toronto (this is true). If you like going in man eating waves (they will not eat you) biking and swimming you have come to the right place!
First on our lake Ontario is you can go on a ship on the lake, go extremely fast in a boat on the lake it’s soooo much fun! Lake Ontario is not too wavy so it’s a perfect place to BRING YOUR BOAT or your kayak and start going in our lake. If you like going in man eating waves (they will not eat you) and felling like you’re on the coast of a giant ocean in Lake Huron. To visit this part of Lake Huron go to suable beach it’s voted the best beach in… CANADA! You can do soooo many things in Canadian beaches.
Topic 3# Downtown Toronto
Our first attraction in downtown Toronto is the science center. The science center is our local museum. A museum is lots of exhibits on science. The exhibits teach you facts about our world. The main attraction in the science center is the IMAX DOME. In the IMAX DOME you watch an educational movie for about 45 minutes about a certain topic like one about Madagascar. In deeper downtown there are giant’s height buildings that put lights on at night. It’s great to go to downtown at night. One of the tallest free standing structure in the world also lights up to but, only different colours! It’s called the CN Tower. And that is all about Downtown Toronto!
Topic 4# The CN tower
The CN Tower is also in Downtown Toronto. The CN Tower has a place to dine with all the tasty foods you desire. Another attraction is the balcony of the CN Tower. The elevator of the CN Tower. The elevator blasts you up 1000 ft. high. On the elevator you can view the outside of the elevator to explore how high you are. The coolest and scariest part of the elevator is the glass floor of the elevator which you can see how high you are. It’s so scary. That is all about the CN Tower!

-Royal Castle was the official residence of the Polish kings.During IIWorld war Royal Castle was complete destroyed and burned (like whole Warsaw) it was rebuilded in 70s. It is located in the Castle Square, at the entrance to the Warsaw Old Town.
-Palace in Wilanów is a royal palace located in the the suburbs of Warsaw, it is the example of a beautiful baroques style.
-Copernicus science center is an interactive science museum.The number of visitors in Copernicus Science Center was the bigest in the whole world. It contains over 450 interactive exhibits that enable visitors to single-handedly carry out experiments and discover the laws of science for themselves. The Centre is the largest institution of its type in Poland and one of the most advanced in Europe.
-The National Stadium was build for european cup 2012. It is used for many purposes like football, voleyball, concerts, windsurfing etc. has a seating capacity of 58,145 which makes it the largest stadium in Poland.
-Building called The Sail is one of the the highest buildings in Warsaw and it was designed by famous artchitecture Daniel Libeskind.

Toronto is the best. There is so much to do like going to the cntower. The cntower is a very popular land mark. It is one of the tallest buildings in the world and there is also a glass floor so you can see the ground from sooo high it’s a bit scary. In Toronto there is a place called Canada’s Wonderland. It is a real fun place with lots of rides and fun things to do. One of my favorite things to do is go sailing. I race at the RCYC, which stands for royal Canadian yacht club.

One thing that you should know about Vancouver is that it rains quite a lot. Mostly during Oct - March.
Also, we have a lot of mountains. Finding north is easy, as the mountains face north, which is something that I find interesting.
On the mountains, you can do various activities, such as sking, hiking, mountain biking and snowboarding.
