Hi Explorers!

I recently took the Impact Quiz and had a score of 12 points by the end. Living in New York has actually allowed me to reduce my carbon footprint by quite a bit. I walk everywhere and take public transportation rather than driving a car like I used to. Furthermore, I really try to make an effort to turn off all appliances before leaving the house for the day as well as separating our trash from things that can easily be recycled. I noticed that my score was a little below average in comparison to this collaboration. However, I think I could do a better job by trying to purchase more energy efficient bulbs and reusable batteries, as well as reusing and repurposing household and clothing items.

Dear citizens of Paris,
One suggestion I have for people in my community to reduce their environmental impact at home is to recycle. You can recycle: paper, glass and plastic. Composting is good too. Composting is when peoples have gardens and recycle vegetable's skins and you put them in your garden. This is a way to reduce trash!!
This is important because composting is recycling and the composted food is excellent for your garden ( plants...)
One thing we already do thats great is economising electricity and water. Thanks for considering my idea!

Sincerely,
Capucine
