My impact score was 11! One thing I can do immediately to reduce my impact is to look for local food when I go grocery shopping. I can do this by going to a farmer's market, because buying food there will reduce my environmental impact AND help support my community.

Hi Navigators!

I recently took the Impact Quiz and had a score of 12 points by the end. Living in New York has actually allowed me to reduce my carbon footprint by quite a bit. I walk everywhere and take public transportation rather than driving a car like I used to. Furthermore, I really try to make an effort to turn off all appliances before leaving the house for the day as well as separating our trash from things that can easily be recycled. I noticed that my score was about average in comparison to this collaboration. However, I think I could do a better job by trying to purchase more energy efficient bulbs and reusable batteries, as well as reusing and repurposing household and clothing items.

After doing the Impact Quiz, my impact score was 10. My class's average impact score was 15-16 so it was quite low for my class. A few things that i could do to reduce it is to:
- Composts food more
- Reduce the amount of trash in my family
- Eat less meat and more vegetable
- Ask my parents' permission to ride the bike to school
I didn't realize that all the actions of my family has a negative impact on my city. I will try to stop those negative things to help make my city a better place.
