About Me

Kim Chaloner is the Dean of Community Life at Grace Church School in Manhattan. Kim brings 15 years of experience in education in both schools and environmental organizations, as well as additional experience in public outreach, to shared community efforts at Grace. She works on building programs that integrate diversity, inclusion, sustainability, and service into the fabric of everyday life for students, parents, teachers, and staff. In addition, Kim has been teaching biological and earth sciences at Grace for 14 years. She is the co-author of Beat The Odds, A Kid's Guide to Dealing with Diabetes (Hill and Wang, TBD) along with her husband, graphic novelist, Nick Bertozzi, and co-author/contributor to Funky Science; 250 Experiments (Hinckler, TBD).
