About Me

My name is Dan Gillmor. I am a social studies teacher in Alberta Canada. I found out about this website at a convention in 2009 and am very excited about sharing this with my students.

Aside from teaching I am Deputy Fire Chief for the local Volunteer Fire Department, Commanding Officer of the local 539 Air Cadet Squadron, and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion.

I look forward to making some connections both with students and other teachers and those who feel that youth empowerment is a key to the future.
